The filter plate of a general filter press is a combination of a diaphragm filter plate and a box filter plate. The box filter plate is a solid structure, and the diaphragm filter plate consists of a diaphragm and a core plate to form an internal chamber structure.
The diaphragm filter plate is composed of two diaphragms and a core plate. External media (water or compressed air, etc.) are introduced into the chamber between the core plate and the diaphragm to make the diaphragm bulge, so as to compress the filter chamber composed of the diaphragm filter plate and the box filter plate, so as to better separate and improve the solid content. The diaphragm is the main moving part, and repeated movement is easy to deform and damage the diaphragm.
The rubber diaphragm filter plate diaphragm is generally embedded in the groove of the core plate for easy disassembly and replacement. Because the rubber diaphragm has high elasticity, it is not easy to be damaged.
Polypropylene filter plate diaphragms are generally welded integrally, and the welded diaphragms cannot be replaced.
